Dude, I swear to god/allah/Brittany spears/whatever scientologists worship that you’ve done this before and that I’ve messaged you, and you’ve ignored it or made fun of me, which is why I didn’t bother messaging you. Mayhaps I’m wrong and I’m confusing you with other tumblr users who frequently poach my friends stuff. If you found it on imgur, it was poached from somewhere else, and I owe you an apology. But I know that other dumpers have mentioned their material on your site w/o credit, so I jumped to a fairly obvious conclusion.
For the record, I never asked you to take it down. Pummp didn’t ask you to take it down either. It’s your right to share anything and everything. I just think you should make an attempt to attribute the image. There is this idea on Tumblr that attribution is equivalent to ownership and that ownership is badddd, and I just don’t see how the two are directly connected. Even if you found the image on another content aggregator like Reddit or Blogspot or a surf clubs like Nasty Nets or Spaceghetto and it didn’t have a name or URL on it, it never hurts to just say “found this on X.” This in no way impedes your sharing, or your ability to express yourself via curating content.
