David Dees created this picture as a form of “political satire”. In it, he has unknowingly touched upon a craft that could be considered essential to “the new aesthetic”: digital assemblages that do not attempt to hide the fact that they are pieced together from images found online in photoediting or digital illustration software like Photoshop, GIMP, or MS Paint. Dees’ joins the ranks of Christopher Sebastian as a person that works almost exclusively in a digital medium, and could be considered an outsider artist of the Neuve Invention persuasion.
It would be awesome to collect works by other conspiracy theorists and have a show somewhere… perhaps online… perhaps Art Baby gallery…
